EDIA is the operational manager of the National Land Exchange, which belongs to GEOP, an instrument of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Sea. Its purpose is to bring land supply and demand together and provide a single place for the lease, sale, etc of agricultural land.
EDIA is the GEOP l body in the municipalities of Aljustrel, Alvito, Barrancos, Beja, Cuba, Ferreira do Alentejo, Mértola, Moura, Serpa and Vidigueira in the Beja district, Alandroal, Évora, Mourão, Portel, Reguengos de Monsaraz and Viana do Alentejo in the Évora district, Elvas in the Portalegre district and Alcácer do Sal, Grândola and Santiago do Cacém in the Setúbal district.
Owners and investors can go to EDIA for technical support to place their land on the Land Exchange and find out about opportunities in the region.
